I'm a married, stay at home mom. I grew up on the Jersey shore til at 26 I decided to leave. Since 1997 I've lived in Seattle, the Philly-burbs, Maui, the Lehigh Valley area in PA and we finally bought a home in the Pocono Mountains.
I'm a bit of a free spirit in a hard rocker way. Being a mom to a 3-year-old, I don't get out like I used to, but I love just hangin' in a club, seein' a band. I journal as much as I can and save a lot of stuff. You might say I'm a packrat of sorts. I find it helps me remember a lot in life...especially those years I don't remember much. (`95-`98)
I'm a loyal friend, a bit moody, a little nutty, kinda goofy, sentimental, caring, sometimes loud, sometimes I don't shut up...other times I'll be totally quiet and mellow. I've been cursed with thick, curly hair, so wouldn't mind big hair to come back, especially on real bad hair days. I'm adopted and found my family in 1995. It's kinda crazy and kinda cool all in one. I am so much like them in so many ways. I have that Indian blood in me. I am emotional, I have social anxiety, but I love to go out, I hate mornings. I don't really like the beach, but I love the water. I seem like an open book, but I've got my secrets. I love salt. I've tried to quit, but it's too hard. I've quit drinking and smoking with no problem, but can't deal with no salt. I absolutely love bagels and pizza. I love salt bagels. Lobster makes me feel good. I'm a rebel. Love me or hate me, I don't care. I can't please everyone.
I've been through a lot of ups and downs in my life, but it's only made me stronger. I like to try to be the best mom I can be, to party when I can, crank the music loud and try to always make a memory.
Life is all about making memories.
Life is too fuckin' short.
Things I LOVE::: my son, my guitar hero hubby, our new chair massager *ah*, bagels, the beach at night, beer, black eyeliner, boots, camping, gardening, forensic science, ghost hunting, journaling, text messaging, knee socks, leather, midori sours, mountains, Guitar Hero, scrapbooking, MUSIC, photography, reading, candles, road trips, seeing bands, shopping, sign language, traveling, true crime, volcanoes, weird nj, writing ...
Things that I don't like::: bad drivers, telemarketers, tomatoes, doing dishes, flakes and fakes, vacuuming (I break them), insecure GIRLS, women beaters, door to door salespeople, not being organized, tequila, those freakin little cars with a big, loud exhaust... what ever happened to kick-ass hot rods?

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Dave Grohl, of course... This time I will actually freakin' speak to the guy! Foo Friends, Fosterchild fans, stay at home moms, people who are into the same things I am and friends from the past.

Music:

Fosterchild is the new band founded by former Fuel drummer Kevin Miller, however Fosterchild is something far more unique. The eastern Pennsylvania band is leading a new wave of retro rock that is very reminiscent, both on album and live, of the straight up, in your face classic rock from 70s and 80s stars such AC/DC, Motley Crue, and Guns and Roses. Besides Fosterchild and Foo Fighters, I love all kinds of rock... from new wave, classic, metal, 80's hair bands to old school punk.

Bands I'm listening to lately::: Damone, Rocket From The Crypt, Flickerstick, Lennon, Marty Casey & The Lovehammers, The Ramones, Sex Slaves, The Donnas...We have some great local bands around here... Type 14, Spitshine, Postal..

Movies:

LOVE movies. Especially horror, independent and low budget. Gimme a sappy love story anyday.

Television:

I wish I wasn't home enough NOT to watch, but I am. I do hate a lot of reality shows, though. That shit has gotten outta hand. I record everything on my DVR and watch shows when I can. I love the DIY Network!

Some shows I watch are::: men in trees, 6 degrees, greys anatomy, criminal minds, cold case, boston legal, my name is earl, weeds, lost, supernatural, the l word, monk and psych... I love forensic files and lots of court tv stuff. sprout tv, noggin and the disney channel help me out in life here and there, too.

Books:

Anything supernatural, suspense, mystery, true crime and music bios.
