"We've got hornage"

About Me

March 2005 - It is noticeably quieter in the office today...scattered around are the remnants of Chilliwack punk/ska/rock band Whitey, which consist of a few cases of empty beer cans, two tubes of travel toothpaste, and an acoustic guitar. It has been a hectic week for the band - they're busy planning the release of their sophomore full length album, aptly entitled "Watch Your Mouth", they're booking and planning CD release shows, and balancing band practices, school and work on top of it all. This might sound impressive to someone who hasn't yet seen the band live, to me it's indicative of the dedication to their band, and to the music they write. In three years Whitey has played countless shows, toured around the West Coast, released two albums, and show no sign of slowing down. Their music - an energetic mix of ska, punk, and straight up rock - has earned them a spot as one of the most respected, exciting, and hard working bands in the valley. With a new album on the way, and a busy tour season ahead don't be surprised to see Whitey show up in your town soon...
