New Album "Keep it Going" Coming May 1st

About Me

The Mad Caddies stand alone in their latest musical achievement. Combining elements of rock and roots reggae that evokes memories of the Clash, the Police and Sublime, the upcoming record Keep It Going takes the listener on a musical journey from lively Jamaican dancehalls to the underground DIY music venues of America. Keep It Going, the band..s 5th full length record, hits streets May 1st, 2007 and will certainly prove to be the definitive record of the Mad Caddies.. successful career. Grammy award winning producer, Wayne Jobson (No Doubt, Gregory Isaacs, Toots & The Maytals), was brought on to help produce the album, and reggae legend Duckie Simpson (Black Uhuru) joined the Mad Caddies to sing on a cover of Delroy Wilson..s reggae classic ..Riding For a Fall...
The Mad Caddies.. talents reach far beyond the boundaries of ska and punk, enabling them to throw a musical curve ball into the mix without notice. Reggae, dixie, jazz, surf, rockabilly, country and swing are all styles in which the group is well versed and aren..t afraid to inject into their unique brand of rock.
The band has toured the U.S., Europe, Canada, Australia and Japan countless times, including stints on ..97, ..98, ..00, ..03 Warped Tours and both the Euro and American Fat Tours of 2000. Between all this time on the road, the Mad Caddies have managed to release an EP, a live record, and three other full lengths on Fat.
After a year of tirelessly crafting the new album "Keep It Going", the Mad Caddies are ready to take this show on the road. They kick it off with a full two-month US tour with Pepper, immediately followed by six weeks in Europe. The Mad Caddies will be on the road the majority of the next 12 months, looking for new audiences everywhere from Mexico and South America to South Africa and Moscow!!
