Marcharon a los Balcanes en busca de alborozadas melodías yritmos trepidantes, se encontraron con la descarnada huella de la barbariey han regresado con un trabajo exultante de madurez compositiva. Lainquietud por encontrar nuevas experiencias musicales y el espíritunómada que les empuja en busca de otras realidades trasladaron aBoikot el pasado diciembre a la antigua Yugoslavia, tierra quemada por laguerra donde todavía humean los rescoldos del último incendiohumano de Europa. Un lugar marcado por el dolor que paradójicamenteemana música desbordante de vitalidad, alegría y fanfarria.Siguiendo la estela de ese sonido, la familia que componen Juankar, Kosta,Alberto y Grass (bajo, guitarras y batería respectivamente) seestableció en los estudios del Pavarotti Music Center de Mostar(Bosnia y Herzegovina) gracias a la mediación del productor JavierAbreu para colorear su nuevo trabajo con pinceladas del folcklorebalcánico. La singular y nutritiva instrumentación que aportanlos diversos músicos bosnios es un ingrediente más que semezcla con el aporte skatalítico italiano de los vientos deBanda Bassotti, un chisco de música celta grabado enGalicia y el punk rock urbanita marca de la casa. Esta amalgama de sonidosda forma a una obra heterogénea y madura, acorde con la longevidadde una formación que durante dos décadas ha sabido progresara base de constancia, esmerándose en este undécimo disco enprofundizar la trascendencia del mensaje, con textos hondos que amplificanlos crudos testimonios de la guerra. Después de un laborioso ykilométrico trimestre de grabación, con los primerosdías de la primavera alumbrará ..Amaneció´, elproyecto más ambicioso, arduo e intercultural de la errante bandamadrileña. They went to the Balkans to looking for joy melodies and vibratingrhythms and were found with the stark footprint of barbarity andthey´ve came back with a work full of maturity compositional. Theconcern to find new musical experiences and the nomadic spirit whichmotivates them to search another realities, moved Boikot, Last December tothe older Yugoslavia, a land burned by the war where still expand theembers of the last human fire in Europe . A place marked by the pain thatparadoxically emanates music overwhelming of vitality, joy and“fanfarria”. Following the wake of that sound, the familycomposed by Juankar, Kosta, Alberto and Grass (bass, guitars, and drumsrespectively) landed in Pavarotti music center studios in Mostar ( Bosniaand Herzegovina ) thanks to the mediation of producer Javier Abreufor giving a Balkan folklore brush colour to the new album. Theoriginal instruments that Bosnian musicians have brought, mixed with theItalian ska contribution of Banda Bassotti winds section , a bit of Celticmusic recorded in Galicia and an urban pink rock brand made in thehouse. That amalgam of sounds sculpt to an heterogeneous and mature newalbum in agreement with a longevity band that for two decades have known toprogress day by day, to get this new 11th album plenty of deep messagewhich amplify the hard evidence of war.
