I am here for Friends

About Me

So stuff has changed. and i guess it would be wrong to portray myself as someone i no longer am, so here is the updated "bio". I'm still a nerd. and i've taken up music as a hobby as of late,Check out www.myspace.com/stonegrooves. I sold my beetle this summer. Iced tea is still killer. I just graduated college in December, and it feels great to be done. now i've got a good job and pretty well everything is falling into place for me. most of the old habits are around, but definately less so than before. stone grove is pretty sweet. quite an amazing course of events. though you'd have to be me to get it.The following of a path is a powerful and difficult road in life, because it requires single-minded concentration and an unwavering focus. To stray from one's path is to fall by the roadside, to fail. But, what if one's path lay not in one place, but it is divergent and convergent along a lifetime. It may be that one falls now and then, but on the way down, if one watches, one may be able to find a proverbial hand-hold on the way down and grab said hand hold, then pull one-self up from the depth to which one has fallen. The secret is to realize that now the path has changed. Not necessarily wrong, but different. Change is a simple part of a life. It's the ability to move with the flux of life. To recognize this change and become flexible and stay on some path.

Stay the Course. Take the Path of the Bold. Live it Up.

My Interests

Music, counter culture, Freedom, the gathering of knowledge, Joy, reading till i fall asleep, Singing

I'd like to meet:

a person who gets it.

Music:

if you can dance

Movies:

if it can pull me in, and make me care about the story and the people, i'm down. i'll actually watch just about anything. just to see, you know.

Television:

kinda stopped watching tele. too much bullshit and lies. but robot chicken is always good for a laugh. and MXC.

Books:

Anything by R.A. Salvatore. J.R.R. Tolkien's works. The entirety of the Forgotten Realms Library (though i'm only about half-way through). Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Neffenegger (it's sappy though) White Fang was really good.

Heroes:

i think the word hero is something that gets tossed around a lot. i don't idolize people, though i do respect some for something (yes vague, but it's a very vast world out there). Mostly i look at everything and everyone as objectively as i can. in truth it's not who you are, but what you do.
