About Me

i became involved in photography the fall of 1980 at the University of Minnesota. studying under David Goldes, James Henkel, Linda Brooks, and Gary Hallman. From 1981-83 worked for the Minnesota Daily as lab tech and general assignment photographer and from 1983-85 served as the photo editor and chief photographer for the Daily's Arts and Entertainment section. After graduation, i made pictures for anybody that asked, working primarily with the music industry doing media, promotional and packaging art, as well as being a regular contributer to City Pages and the now defunct TC Reader.
