HELLO, MY NAME IS CHRISTINE. MY ORIGINAL MYSPACE IS ON THE BOTTOM OF THIS TOP 40 MYSPACE, IT SAYS CHRISTINE. YOU SHOULD STOP BY MY OTHER MYSPACE. I ALSO VOLUNTEER WITH THE KIDS CANCER CRUSADE. I HAVE A 14-YEAR OLD SON WHO IS AMAZING.
I HOPE WE FULLFILL BOEY'S LEGACY. CHILDREN SHOULD NOT HAVE TO INDURE THIS ILLNESS.
Everyday, no one stops to perish the thought of children and cancer in the same sentence. It simply hurts too much to think about that. Even I didn't, until I became involved with the Kids Cancer Crusade. All of the amazing kids, "angels, families and friends that I am involved with with leave an impression with me and my heart.
I've read and heard about this amazing young girl, Jenessa Nicole "Boey" Byers in 2006 who was diagnosed on January 28,2006 with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare type of childhood bone cancer. She gave me a sense of hope beyond any other time in my life. She left a lasting, positive impression on anyone who crossed her path, for any amount of time. I knew that no matter what happened, this little girl would play a BIG part in the fight against cancer and the goal to find a cure! I was right! She battled her cancer for 10 months with her family by her side through chemo, radiation and a fierce BOEY TUDE and was put into remission. Shortly after in May 2007, Boey recurred with the same type of cancer. Her family, friends and loved ones all lost her physically on December 28,2007 but God got his most precious angel on that same day. It is our goal to make sure her legacy and all of the memories we shared live on and we make all of her dreams come true! This little girl did more in her 8 short years with us than most people do in 100 years (ask ANYONE, I'm not the first and only one to say that), the least we can do is make sure we finish it for her! We will do whatever it takes to carry out all of the work she has done for other kids battling this horrible disease and get that much closer to finding a cure! We love you Boey and hope to make you proud!
