the 9bars are a bunch of friends/musicians that lived together in the santry area of Dublin where they spent most of there time jamming and writing songs,they started the band in late december 07 and played there first gig on the 4th of january in the annesley house. the 9bars have a residency at the BLEU NOTE on capel street dublin where they play every thursday they also play all the usual gig venue's around the town such as THE MEZZ,THE BLUE NOTE,THE TURKS HEAD,CASSIDYS,THE ANNESLEY HOUSE and have develloped a great following in a very short period of time the 9bars are- Lee Meehan(Guitar/Vocals)Lee has played with all the top blues bands in dublin and is a well known up and coming guitarist and singer. Chris Byrne(Bass)Chris is a well known bassist he has played with Ali and the d.ts and a lot of other top class dublin blues bands he is also now playing with readers wives. Steo Farrell(Guitars)Steo is a well known engineer and has recorded some of dublins top acts in his studio the bunker.Steo is a well respected guitarist and has played with some of irelands top bands such as Mundy and Picture house.
