About Me

On a dull pissy summer afternoon about two years ago we set this thing up. Me and Gerry were sitting out my mothers back garden with terrible hangovers after drinking our weeks welfare the night before; cursing existence and so fourth. And this were it begins
We struggled but got a plan to make some money playing the blues for some kip over the north side of Dublin, we heard that they were lookin for a resident blues band to gig friday nights for fuck all money but thats the means to an end. Me and Gerry went out and got Mick on drums and Bad Beverly (former U.S army vet transsexual saxophonist with a temperment like a killer whale having its young fucked with) to play with us as well for the laugh and draw the freak dollar.
We then got Stevie Tierney or (Mucker) as he is from Wexford and we were then on our way almost. We played a couple of gigs down at that kip and we got to play to our family and friends and a few stray dipsos from the neighborhood. But nonetheless we were up off the cans on onto the pints of the stage god bless be fucked. After afew shows we asked the multi talented Terry McGuinness in to play second guitar and he said yeah, which is the best thing that has happenned to the band so far, as our man Terry brought countless new dimensions of what could be possible for the band.We went on struggling with these gigs but we were slowly building something good.Eventually we fucked off from that kip we were playing in after working our bollox off and getting a 5er each one night after a gig. Had do be done to keep a tiny bit of self respectWe then started practicing and got gigs around Temple bar and the Bleu Note and got paid well so we kept on going.Christian Volkman came in on harp and gave us balls in the delivery of our live shows, Bev left after storming out of a recording session because she wasnt able to her herself play so ya have it.
We baught a camper van and started doing gigs around the country. We got into some scraps and decided to fuck the van off a cliff for coming between the camaradrie of the group, but later sold it to fund the recording of our Debut album, which is due to be released September 2008 ..
