BIO
I began playing at a young age. Very soon I discovered 'tapping' and from that moment I began creating a sort of two-handed style.
My first influences were lots of Shrapnel guys.
At that time I played a lot of Shrapnel-stuff but most of the time with my own tapping approach.
From the beginning I was blown away by the sound/vibe of arpeggios and that has become an important part of my style now. I've listened a lot to piano- and keyboard players too. I really love their arpeggio approach.
I'm a full time musician for 12 years now. I do a lot of session work, clinics, play covers and work with many Dutch artists. These things give me the time and freedom to do the thing I really like...writing and playing instrumental stuff.
In February 2005 I won the Amer.(L.A.) "George Bellas Guitar Contest".

INSTRUCTIONAL DVD...............
I got a lot of emails/messages from guitarists with questions about my cd and some available instructional stuff. So for those who are interested there's some good news!
At this moment I'm working on an instructional DVD which will be released in Dec 2007.
It will feature a lot of (extreme)tapping techniques + arpeggio-stuff and I'll explain how to use this in a melodic way. There also will be a chapter about how to improve your "vibrato" and "phrasing"and playing "syncopic arpeggios". Also there will be an extra chapter about "creating a fluid tone" and "how to play your leads as clean as possible".
