I started playing guitar at age 11. Beeing lefthanded I just took a
normal guitar and turned it around without changing the strings,
which since then became a trademark of my playing.I never had formal guitar lessons so I learned a lot from watching
other guitarists or listening to records. During my time in school
I played in many different bands including many different styles
ranging from Jazz, Pop to Rock. I played a lot of covertunes as well as
my own stuff and I gained a strong reputation as a good lead player.At that time I was very much into Edward Van Halen and I copied
all of his riffs and licks whenever a new record came out. After school
I started working in a local music store where I had to know a lot
about classical music and I became very interested in that style.
I also developed my sight reading skills. Then I heard Yngwie Malmsteen
and that drew my attention to the real technical aspect of playing and
I started to practice alternate and sweep picking, string skipping and
all the other techniques and have been busy playing live and in the studio ever since.In 1994 I joined the german heavy metal band ATTACK and we had a worldwide release with the album "The Secret Place" in 1995.I got an endorsement deal with U.S. company DEAN GUITARS and started to play clinics and workshops all around the world.In 2001 I joined the hardrock band DEMON DRIVE and I had 2 worldwide album releases with them: "Rock´n Roll Star" in 2001 and "...four play!" in 2003.In 2005 I started working on my own solo project which later became the band CODE OF PERFECTION . We released our debut album called "Last Exit For The Lost" in 2006.Also in 2006 I joined international supergroup EDEN´S CURSE and we released our selftitled debut album in 2007. I played all guitars on that album and so far we´ve been getting amazing reviews from all over the world.
