These are GarageBand demos recorded in my apartment while looking out my window at an Esso station (current price: 134.9 - fucking ridiculous). I used to record into my tape recorder/piece of crap ghetto blaster thingy. That was not a lot of fun.Thankfully, the brilliant minds at Apple put GarageBand on my PowerBook. They obviously sensed my need for something modern and unfuckupable (not sure if that's a word but it should be). How nice of them. Anyway, now with Myspace, I can foist them upon an unsuspecting public. And if that is you, thanks for listening.
What one may hear somewhere as a small cack, mixing problem or anything else weird, I call character. You may have a different word. And I'm not what one would call a trained singer. In a perfect world, I would have sort of a Jeff Buckley/(insert another really good singer's name here) thing going on. Perhaps more angst and range. Maybe a voice lesson would help. A drummer, keyboard player and a bassist would be good too. Sadly, this is not the case. But I try, dammit. Oops, in lowering your expectations I may have made you not want to hear them now. Ignore what I just said.
