About Me

blueVenus continues to impress audiences, both as an acoustic duo and as a five-piece band with their unique brand of Pop/Rock with Jazz and Latin influences. Imagine Fiona Apple, Feist joined by the Police and Radiohead for a Saturday night out. blueVenus were nominated for a total of five Toronto Independent Music Awards (TIMAs) in 2006 and 2007. They were also recognized by Vancouver's WE as a top pick for New Music West 2007.
The blueVenus 7 song Ep-CD was recorded by L.Stu Young (Juno award winning engineer of Prince's "Musicology") and Iain McNally (Amanda Marshall).
