DWAP Productions is a multi-media art production partnership between Dale Wilson and Astra Price. Currently, we are focusing on comic books but we have and will work in other mediums including video, installation, print, and multi-media. We recently produced our first book: Caffeine Dreams, an ashcan preview of a forthcoming compilation of three stories written in three different styles and drawn by three different artists, all written by Dale Wilson. Soon, we will be finishing this first issue: Caffeine Dreams 01. The stories are Big Ships, On Becoming a Monster: Reunion, and Monarch Kingdom. Big Ships has a MySpace if it's own at BIG SHIPS' MYSPACE . Big Ships is a classic 50's sci-fi story set in modern times, OBAM:Reunion is a bit of a more straight forward modern horror story, and Monarch Kingdom is a kind of hybrid horror/sci-fi story about people who play video games. These are a few storyboards for On Becoming a Monster - Issue One Juan doesnt start off as the general of a vast vampire army. Our first five issues will explain how he discovers what feeds on the pimps, gangster, and drug-dealers in his new city. In issue one, Juan has come to town from Brazil and is taking over, building his first army, working to unite or destroy the local gangs. At the end of thi sstory arc, as he is about to accomplish his goal and be king of the gangs, his success is all taken from him and he finds himself serving new masters.
