What can I say? I am what I am. The reason I have started this myspace is because, I am an epileptic who uses cannabis as a medicine. Unfortunately, I still take prescription medications (Dilantin for Grand mals, and Keppra for partial seizures). However I hope to get off the prescriptions as soon as I can, but for now I can't rely solely on Cannabis because of the laws and prices. Anyway, I had quit using cannabis for about 1-2 years not knowing that it had any effects on the epilepsy. When I stopped using cannabis I started having extremely bad seizures at a high rate of frequency particularly the partial seizures. This also led to me having extremely bad panic attacks for which I was prescribed Xanax and zoloft. I only took them for a very short period of time as I had developed a dependence on the Xanax. If I had to go without it I had terrible withdrawls and I was warned that skipping doses could cause more seizures. I started using cannabis again and the frequency of the seizures dropped drastically. I have two types of epileptic seizures 1. Grand Mals, this is by far the worst and it causes unconsciousness and extremely bad migraines, 2. Partial seizures, these aren't as bad but can lead to grand mals. The partials seizures make me lose track of what I am doing in my daily routine. It gives a short jerk of the body which most people wouldn't even notice, but I completely forget what I am doing and sometimes where I am when this happens. It also causes extremely terrible migraines. I also use cannabis for relief from migraines which I have occasionally without the seizures. Since I have been using cannabis I have also no longer had panic attacks. It is illegal to use cannabis for medical purposes in the state that I currently reside in.Here's a bit more about me: I'd like to see true peace & freedom. We can all live in peace amongst eachother if we want to. The freedom that allows mankind to make their own decisions about how to live and what they do. I believe we should able to make our own decisions. My life is my life and no one should be granted the ability to tell me what I do with it unless I choose to let them. If you know me you probably know what I mean. I'm on here to spread the message for peace and to spread truth for total legalization of Cannabis. I urge you all to check www.NORML.org.
