My name is Janet Kenyon - and I developed a workout program for pro and semi-pro singers after years of working as a vocal coach. My students include artists from Warner Brothers, Curb, MCA, Provident, Columbia/Sony, Equity just to name a few. One of my students - Melinda Doolittle - appears on the DVD with me. She is an amazingly talented singer - but understands the importance of studying and working your voice.
I taught for 11 years in the Commericial Music program at Belmont University and several years ago went out on my own to open a voice studio on Music Row in Nashville - dedicated to developing the entire artist.
I am also a very busy performer in the studio and live. Everything from the Nashville Pops Symphony to singing with Jonny Lang at the Ryman - and just recently - sang with Lyle Lovett in Houston.
