Ladies and Gentlemen, Elvis has left the building! But watch out because Heather Schnoor has just entered! Forget about standing around and looking cute, this 6-foot, corn-fed, Nebraskan girl was born to move and perform. With an infectious personality that can light up any room, she will leave you wanting more. Heather's huge heart and energetic attitude puts her in a league of her own when it comes to entertaining and inspiring.
As a little girl, Heather was first introduced to country music by her grandfather through television shows like Hee-Haw and the Grand Ole Opry. She fell in love with stars like Reba and Crystal Gayle, and prayed that one day she might fill their shoes. After moving to Kansas and finishing grade school, Heather attended Fort Hays State University to further pursue her passion in music. While working towards her Bachelor's degree she played collegiate volleyball, was a wedding singer, and toured with her band that performed throughout the Midwest. Bringing her own brand of country music Heather played at numerous clubs, summer festivals, bars, and parties. It soon became obvious to everyone her potential as a country music artist and that with a little hard work and determination the possibilities are endless. With that inspiration and confidence, she graduated from college, saved up her money, packed up her car, and followed her heart to Tennessee, the state she now calls home.
Within her first month of moving to Nashville, Heather landed a heavily sought after steady gig at Opryland. In the next few months while spending her days developing her songwriting and networking, Heather performed nightly. Although grateful for the opportunity, Heather is now devoting all of her time, talent, and energy to developing herself as a complete artist. She says, "I'm here to be an artist that reaches audiences on an entirely new level, someone who is real with themselves and transparent with other people. With me, what you see is what you get!" Heather is now focusing on meeting with publishers and searching for songs that move her and co-writing with some of the best songwriters in Nashville. She has been in Nashville for a year, has settled in and is now ready for the next season in her life.
