About Me

NOVEMBER 2006
MY NEW CD "This Is Good" IS COMPLETE!
So, I FINALLY HAVE MY NEW CD!!! I'm so happy with it! I did all of the background photography for the design, not that I'm trying to toot my own horn or anything, but boy, did my designer (who's name is Tammy, too) ever make everything look good!
So, what I'm doing is offering a gift package along with regular purchases of the new CD. Since the holidays are coming up, I can put together a gift package for someone you need to buy a gift for.
-2 copies of the new CD "This Is Good" (one for you and one for your person of choice for the gift package)
-1 copy of "Maybe"
-1 copy of "Facade"
-1 copy of my 3 song CD (2001)
-a couple of signed postcards
All of this, I'll send to you for $40.00 (I did have a t-shirt included earlier, but I ran out, so I've lowered the price). This includes shipping. Also, for every gift package order that comes in, 20% will be going to animal rescues. 10% will go to Jolene's Horse Rescue (www.jolenehorserescue.com) and another 10% will go to the Lanark Animal Welfare Society-LAWS (www.lanarkanimals.ca). I am taking payment for individual copies of the new CD as well, it's $20, and that includes shipping as well.
So, if this is of interest, I'm taking payment 2 ways: through Paypal and by check. If you'd like to send a check, payable to Tammy Raybould, please send it to:
Tammy Raybould/Boulder Records
900 Greenbank Road, Lower Level
Ottawa, Ontario
K2J 1S8
Canada
My email address is [email protected] for anyone who would like to pay through PayPal. By the evening of November 2, there will be 2 tracks from the new CD up here that you can take a listen to. Please also let me know if I need to be on the lookout for a check.
Happy November everyone!
Tammy
PS: If anyone would like to know the story of "this is good", please email me and I'll clear it up that it's not that I have a big head on my shoulders, it's actually a cool story. Well, I think it is!
SEPTEMBER 2006
I've embarked on a little project. Ok, not so little, but we'll see how it goes. I'm trying to compile stories in a creative way in order to raise money for different animal rescue societies. It's completely up to you as to whether you want to write these things down in point form and I can finish the rest or write it all yourself. Then email your stories and pictures to:
[email protected]
First, I'm wondering if you have ever rescued or adopted a pet (dog, cat, rabbit, goat, elephant, doesn't matter).
Second, if you haven't, do you know anyone who has and if so, could you pass this message along to them?! Thank you!
Third, I was wondering if you could tell me how, where, when you got your pet.
Fourth, can you also tell me how your pet has enriched your life/your family's life and also maybe share some funny stories about your pet. We've all got funny stories about our pets!
And last, I'm hoping you'll share a picture or 2 with me.
I'll make sure that your story and picture is OK'd by you before it gets into the hands of the public. Thank you immensely for even thinking of doing this. It sounds like a lot of work, but don't worry about grammar, spelling, etc. I'll be doing some editing, so don't waste your time on stuff like that. Please let me know if you have any questions at all and thank you again!

ABOUT THE ANIMAL RESCUE SITE
The Animal Rescue Site focuses the power of the Internet on a specific need -- providing food for some of the 27 million unwanted animals given to shelters in the US every year. Over 10 million animals are put to death every year in the US alone because they are unwanted, abandoned, or abused.
Each click on the purple "Feed an Animal in Need" button at The Animal Rescue Site provides food for an animal at North Shore Animal League America or at one of the Fund For Animals' world renowned animal sanctuaries, including the Black Beauty Ranch in Texas and the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in California.
Funding for food is paid by site sponsors, whose banners appear after you click the purple button, and goes to our aforementioned charity partners.
The number of animals helped by the site depends on the number of visitors to The Animal Rescue Site. Please click every day, and encourage friends and family members to do so as well.

Fundraising for diabetes

Along with being a singer/songwriter, one of my passions is to find a cure for diabetes.  Not that I can actually DO that, I'm not a doctor (and I failed math and science too many times to count ...
