About Me

In the early 80’s a friend of mine and I established the folk band "Old Skibbereen". First we had little successes with irish folk, later we began to perform own songs. 1985 we finished our partnership and stroke out on one’s own.
Since 2002 I write songs again, but only for myself and for my own pleasure. Maybe it pleases you too?

Influences: My father, who played accordion and blues harp,
my mother, who played the zither,
my parents, who both of them wanted me to learn guitar and flute,
my older brother, who taught me the love to guitar and good music,
my younger brothers, who were subjected to my music - later my two daughters, my wife ;-)
and many other people of my life.
