About Me

Keith Hills began his love for the acoustic guitar in the 1970's, and quickly established himself as a fine musician in the folk clubs of his native Cornwall and the UK; travelling extensively through Europe, with guest appearances on radio and at folk festivals. His technique, tone and sensibility have been a quiet inspiration to countless localguitar players. With a growing reputationas a songwriter, a Keith Hills concertprovides both an intimate and enjoyablemusical performance, and a masterclassworkshop for all budding guitarists;Keith cofounded "The Ragtime Millionaires"in the late 80' s with Dave Jenkin, (a fine guitar player in the ragtime blues style), They were signed to Fellside Records in 1993 and made the album "Making a Million" to great reviews.and the build up of a huge fan base all over the country and Europe. Great fun! but not what Keith is all about,so it was decided that it was time to concentrate on the softer side of writing and recording the more intimate material. Keith not only wrote and played all the songs and tunes on the solo album "Recovery" but also engineered and produced the whole thing. Fellside Records released "Recovery" (FECD128) and now is sold everywhere Keith performs, together with various abums of superb cover arrangements.
