Greetings, gift-wrapped kitty cats. The next Stay Beautiful is our NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY!!! Held on Monday 31st December (like, duh) at The Purple Turtle, it will run FROM 9.00pm TILL 4.00am, there will be FREE SHOTS OF CORKY'S vodka shooters for the first 100 people, and at midnight, we'll have a special performance from Stay Beautiful's favourite band in the whole world, PAUL ST PAUL AND THE APOSTLES! ( http://www.myspace.com/paulstpaulandtheapostles ), the transvestive electro-sex-funk troupe from the Planet Isreal (sic) who are quite simply the most entertaining band in the known universe.

Tickets are £10 IN ADVANCE, and you can buy them in person from The Purple Turtle itself any day of the week, or phone up to reserve them on 020 7383 4976(please note that tickets will only be held until 10.00pm on the night itself, after which they will be put on general sale). If any tickets remain, they'll be available on the night for £12, but we strongly advise you to book early - it's gonna be the party of the year!
*WHAT IS STAY BEAUTIFUL?*
Stay Beautiful is a monthly drunken glam-electro-alternative party for flamboyant freaks and beautiful dance whores, which happens on the first Saturday of every month at the Purple Turtle, Camden Town.
Co-run by resident DJs SIMON PRICE (Independent On Sunday, Manics biographer) and TONY MAGGS (Rockabaret), Stay Beautiful has become a legendary clubland institution, an unmissable fixture of London's alternative nightlife for the last six years.
WE PLAY: SLEAZY GLAM // HI-VOLTAGE ELECTRO // GLITTER ROCK // F UCKED UP DISCO // '77 PUNK // NEW WAVE // ALTERNATIVE ANTHEMS // POP TRASH... (and if you wanna know what we mean by all that, have a look at our Music list!)
Every month we have a live band (examples: Nicky Wire, Scarling, Pink Grease, Towers Of London, The Pipettes, Johnny Boy), and most months we have a guest DJ (examples: Peaches, Gerard Way of MCR, Sylvain Sylvain of New York Dolls, Dave Ball of Soft Cell, Go Home Productions, and all four members of Ladytron). We also have regular prize giveaways, and a notoriously messy thing called the Watering Can Song...
Future dates are: NEW YEAR'S EVE (Mon 31st Dec, duh), SAT 2nd FEB (our Seventh Birthday Party!), and the FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH into 2008.
