Live in the Dartford area? Annoyed there is nothing decent to go to? Well 'Clockwork Monkey's Popup Party' has now changed all that!! Hosted by 2 of the most respected music promoters in the north west kent and London area, this night is about to knock your skinny jeans off! This is the first time something of such indie grandure has presented itself to the Dartford masses.. this is the place to be 'scene'!
It all began at the start of September, 'Clockwork Monkey's Popup Party' hit the small and cute Bar Mondo with a stormimg launch party! The 'Mondo' as it seems to be called had never been so busy!
Since then, every single friday we pack out the small 'Mondo' and give you the best in indie, new wave, rock and club music, mixed with huge atmosphere, from probably the best local DJ around - DJ Rocksteady Bboy! Roki for short has DJ'd with the likes of Get Cape Wear Cape Fly and Mystery Jets in such venues as Mean Fiddler, and is also The Wombats official DJ.. but now folks, we have him in Dartford! Paired up with Ross 'The Indie Monkey' Hurley who has DJed the likes of The Venue in New Cross, this is a DJ pair not to be missed! Mixed with other guest DJ's, from well known bands, we will be putting on a night like no other in Dartford. This is a LONDON night.. brought to Dartford to save your train fare or night busses home.
