Such excellent hooks and infectious lines and twists that stick around (Org records) http://organart.com/
BEING GREAT IS REALLY THIS EASY.
It was early days, but even then they had the seeds of the manic, unhinged live shows that have created their fearsome onstage reputation today. Inevitably hooker Bentley (name now changed due to a legal fiasco) began to stretch out to London venues and with their second recording Now were Making Friends firmly in hand, began gaining the attention of industry folk. Even at this stage the band were constantly looking to push the boundaries of their sound, fighting their way in to a scene which seemed to be churning out garage rock bands 5 a day
Holing themselves up once more to record more tracks (which took the form of 2003s See you when I see you sessions), this was now a band firing on all four cylinders, refusing to compromise their sound and, if anything, pushing themselves to be that bit different from the bunch. With rave reviews from the likes of ORG Records (Demo of the Month, August 2004) and new interest from up and coming Independent Label Chromium Records, there seemed to be nothing stopping hooker Bentley making their mark on an industry, which so desperately needed a change
However, with the departure of founder member Carl Hutson in July 2004, the band was forced to a halt to spend time finding a replacement. After months of searching high and low, old friend Alexis Gray was called upon to take the bass man role and hooker Bentley sprung in to action once more. With new songs, a new CD (2005s Day Release E.P) and new found fire in their bellies, the band have just about finishing recording a bunch of tracks for the as yet titled first album(working title "Miles Underground") which they promise will show that they are very much still here, and still hungry for success
