About Me

Record release party at the Comet in Seattle
Thursday July 10th, 2008
with Dulce Sky (Salt Lake City) and Venus Verse.

thanks everyone for coming out to the show, it was a great launch for the record. Everyone we know, met that night, and all that. THANK YOU!
About the release of 'Array' - available as of June 10, 2008 - from Custom Made Music
It's official now, we got a record to sell! To clear up any confusion about what exactly we're doing, here it is. 'Array' is 8 full stop, rock and roll tracks mastered separately for vinyl record & compact disc. In honor of the new technological age, we are selling them TOGETHER as one unit for ONE PRICE so it don't matter if you don't own a record player.
For the same price as a full length CD or LP, you get both - the best of analog and digital. Because we think vinyl is beautiful and it shows off the cool artwork (by our best friends Larry Brady and Mandy McGee). The myspace player is only using encoded mp3 files from the original digitally mastered sound by world class studio, RFI. It's a beast of a deal, you have to admit!

Influences:
Sounds Like: "…Fans of the Jesus and Mary Chain, the Pixies, and the Church will find the four-piece proudly wear their influences on their guitar strings, churning out fuzzy melodies and moody kickers… Even with the heavy saturation of common au currant cornerstones, BNC produced a winning EP, one that wraps you in a heavy gauze of brooding atmospherics without weighing down the steadily accelerating tempos in the songs." The Stranger

“With a kickass shoegazer band like Black Nite Crash, what stands out… is the way they maintain an upbeat tempo through the majority of their material as opposed to expounding and expounding and expounding on the drama behind their music…” Tablet Magazine

"Thanks for knocking loud, man,"
"No problem, I thought I heard a vaccum cleaner or something,"
"Oh, that's just fuzz.."
Fedex Delivery Guy

"Black Nite Crash is one of [Seattle's] finest offerings, featuring impenetrable layers of guitar effects, bombastic drumming and vocals that sound as if they were screamed down through the communication system of the faulty Mars rover. This gives the band a gritty edge and frightening intensity, unlike some of their more melodious and dreamy peers… " The Seattle Post-Intelligencer

"I've been talking about Black Nite Crash since I saw them close out the Northwest Shoegazers Nite … that was when I caught their… cover of Adorable's "Homeboy" that left me weak in the knees. During the course of [their most recent] show, I became even more impressed with their distinctive next step in Shoegazerdom. Their evolved version of perfected territory left me bemused and excited. They've taken what they've learned from the masters and built songs that hypnotize with their enveloping guitar swirls, resonating vocals, and impenetrable rhythmic tidal waves. The result is songs that fill an empty room and stun." threeimaginarygirls.com
