A little bit about CHADWICK
It's the creative vision of Kirk Chadwick Bentley. Using old and new synthesizers of all kinds plus the occasional guitar. Songs about life of course.
Currently, Chadwick is a one man show which incorporates his collection of fine vintage synthsesizers and sometimes a trusty acoustic guitar. This is tweaked out dance music for poeple who like indie guitar music. It's a little weird...just like you.

White Sky is the new record. Intent on creating a record focused on vintage and analog synthesizers White Sky covers a lot of ground. From dark to delicate from Kraftwerkian to Italo Disco, the songs of full of loss, regret, change and goodbyes.
It's a break up record for those of us saying goodbye to our 20's and all the rocking out Chadwick did in his past. Check it out and LEAVE YOUR COMMENTS!!!

BIO
Chadwick has worked in many incarnations. Session guy, bad WSU college cover band member, engineer, producer, TV commercial composer and lots of weird bands in between. Here are the real notable events though.
Cutting his teeth in 90's Seattle's indie pop favorites The Cinematics, Chadwick sang, played bass, keyboard and even engineered and produced the critically acclaimed record "Meringue." The Cinematics made three records and played tons of shows all over the Northwest and toured up and down I-5.
Eventually disbanding in 2000, The Cinematics entertained fans with a nice collection of hooky guitar indie/brit pop flavored output. Over the course of their career they played with the likes of Death Cab For Cutie, Superdeluxe, and Harvey Danger to name a few.

In 2001 Chadwick collected The Cinematics guitarist Patrick Partington and joined forces with Bryan Manzo (guitar) and My Young (synthesizers) from the Austin band Maximum Coherence. After downing 10 pitchers of beer at the famous George and Dragon pub in Fremont they formed the popular synth/pop/rock outfit Pleasurecraft. Alcohol, drugs, sweaty dance party shows, and late night after hours parties became a staple of the Pleasurecraft lifestyle.
Over the next 4 years Pleasurecraft rose to popularity in Seattle and the Great Northwest filling clubs with sweaty dancing mobs of beat loving fans. Combing synthesizers, guitars and electro club beats with harmony and hook laden tunes proved a fairly successful mixture for Pleasurecraft.
By the time they disbanded in 2007 they had recorded three records. Two of which were named in the Top 20 Northwest Releases on Three Imaginary Girls and played hundreds of shows including the Capital Hill Block Party and opening for bands such as Chromeo and CEX.
So that's that backdrop for you. Now, I'm working on my own stuff like I always have. I've got a wife and a beautiful baby girl and I'm working on two new records for 2009. -----
