About Me

The most brutal show in the history of Springfield, IL radio. Monday Night Metal is an unstoppable beast that is not for the faint of heart. We do this show for the true die hard metalheads that want real metal and not metalcore and emo shit. The show is on every Monday night from 7-9 pm central on 88.3 WQNA on your radio dial in the Springfield, Il area or you can stream it live at www.wqna.org We play Death, Thrash, Black, Classic 80's Metal and some Power Metal. We also support local bands and unsigned indy myspace bands. If you want airplay on the show send your cd to the address below. Bands in the Springfield, IL area feel free to send your show flyers and we will put them up on this site. I want this site to be a great way for local bands to promote there shows and there music. Each week I am going to pick a different local band and have there song as the profile song of the week. We will also be giving away lots of free concert tickets for all the shows at Pops in Sauget, IL. Tune in every Monday night for a chance to win freebies. I thank every one who has ever listened to the show and helped spread the metal gospel and thank you in advance to all of the new listeners to be recruited.

My Interests

My 2 radio shows. Monday Night Metal and Heavy Metal Mania on fridays. I also like checking out cemeteries, drinking going to concerts and walking in the woods and hanging out in nature.
