Singularity

Melodic Progressive Rock

About Me

Singularity is a Denver based progressive rock band that has been together in one form or another for over ten years.Started when Andy purchased a new bass and wanted to jam so he called John and Jamie. Not long after that first gathering in Jamie's basement, Matt joined and Singularity was born. We pooled our cash and put forth our first album, Color of Space. Soon after finishing CoS, Andy moved out of state and while we continued to work via e-mail and mp3's, he eventually quit the band. When Andy left, Matt added bass to his duties and we recorded Between Sunlight and Shadow. The BSaS sessions were important for the fact that we met Scott Cleland who engineered and helped produce the album in his studio. Matt was the next to leave and having gotten to know Scott, we asked if he would join. It was also agreed that we needed a full time bassist and after a small yet intense search, we added JP to the line up. We have been lucky to bring in players like JP and Scott who not only share the same passion for music, but challenge Singularity to move forward in new directions. Some of those new directions can be found on our third disc, Of All the Mysteries. Hope you enjoy what you hear and thanks for stopping by!
