Joel Zig Faria

I am a portuguese drummer.Professional since the day I was born.I have a twin brother called Herbert de Miranda, bass player and artist and an older one called Teodósio Faria,teacher.I did every style of music,from theater to rock,but I prefer Jazz and Fusion.As I was born in South Africa and lived 16 years in Mozambique(where I learned to play drums at 11 years old) I still have an african drum beating inside calling me for the night fire dance.I did every stage and concert halls in Portugal and some others around this little round world.I played with artists and musicians of every race and religion.At this time I'm playing with 2 portuguese bands, PROCURANÇA(Portuguese music)and SHADOOGIE BAND(Tribute to The Shadows).I also compose songs and soundtracks, do Production and Recording and teach drums with my own method due to my formation and long time experience(classic and modern).And there's still more to come...YOU ARE ALL WELCOME !
