Psychedelic FX, delays, & echo drenched vocals, morphing with the pulsating energy of a full big band sound -guitars, drums,bass,melodica,keys & horns.
Their energetic live shows, carry a reputation for percussive, heavy bass driven grooves & improvised dub soundscapes, that please the most hardcore of reggae and dub lovers.
In 2007 DUBSHACK, toured the Nth East of India headlining the massive annual
"Roots Festival" alongside fellow aussies Aurora Jane & Massive Change. Performing before estatic crowds in excess of 20,000 people& travelling into the remote areas of Nagaland, Mizoram, Assam, Meghalaya & Arunachal Pradesh. The band also conducted workshops on dub,reggae and music production
