The 2008 Star Music Awards will be taking place at the posh Music Box Theater in Hollywood on October 26th. The Music Box is home to many awards shows and counts the Grammy Foundation as just one of their many famous clients.This is a Red Carpet Event! There will be celebrities, A&R, producers and other industry peeps in attendance including Craig Goldy of DIO as well as other well known celebs on the panel of judges.The event is being compared to the Grammy's but for independent artists and MyStage has teamed up with Star Music Awards in their Call for Entries whose deadline has been extended until October 12th for all members of MySpace and MyStage!* * * Entering just got easier!
