About Me

MC TNOC aka Tom McLoughlin grew up in the greater Bridgeport, CT area exposed to the sounds of NYC underground hip hop around 1992. By 1993, he was already writing his own lyrics, a talent which he honed and perfected over the following decade. Captivated by all the elements of the culture, he kept at his art until he finally got a chance to perform live in 2001. He got his start rhyming over drum and bass DJ sets, and in late 2003 he co-produced and self released his first original hip hop album on his own label, Abstract Traxx. In 2005, Abstract Traxx shifted focus on producing live events, and has since become one of CT's premier production companies in underground hip hop and electronic dance music. Now at age 26, he has performed live hip hop and drum and bass shows from Maine to Philadelphia and everywhere in between. He has worked with many different artists in both recording and live collaborations and is showing no signs of slowing down.
