DJ BIO's:
J. BRADLEY
Jerrett Bradley Clark (aka J. Bradley) likes long walks on the beach, cuddlin’ beside the fireplace, and likes to pee sitting down. He can speak in two tongues - English and the universal language of House music.
Musically, J. Bradley suffers from multiple personalities that range from dark and dirty, to fun and funky, to smooth and sophisticated, to weird and wacky. However, there is a common thread that ties all of his musical personalities together - the dance floor.
J. Bradley has been a go-to guy for warm-up duties with some of the biggest and brightest luminaries from Canada and abroad on their way through the nation’s capital including Luke Fair, Hatiras, Fedde Le Grand, , Brad Copeland, Greg Benz, Tone Depth, Jerome Robins, Jody Wisternoff (Way Out West), Rowan Blades (Breeder), Eddy Jasmin, Deko-ze, and Luc Raymond.
However, he also has a tried and tested ability to carry a night on his own. Over the years, J. Bradley earned a series of successful residencies in Ottawa at locations like The Well, Rouge, Helsinki, and currently at Heaven and Sunrise Afterhours.
JB was recently added to the impressive roster of residents at Heaven superclub in Ottawa that includes Martin Villeneuve, Etienne Osborne, and Max Graham and is still busy as a Sunrise resident and purveyor of fine dance music at his own monthly event called Primetime Glitch, also at Sunrise, and Housework monthly at Dekcuf.

RICK LAPLANTE
Hailing from Ottawa, Canada, Rick Laplante returned to his Nation's Capital in 1998, after having lived in London, ON for 10 years. His involvement in the London nightclub and rave community set the scene for his professional development over the years to come. It began in early 1992 with Prism Productions, his promotions company committed to hosting intimate gatherings with good vibes and fresh music. Unable to resist the siren song of the turntables for long, Rick began basement Djing later in 1992, with his first professional gig the following year.
His main musical influences came through London's proximity to Detroit and Toronto. Each city was only hours away, and frequent weekend visits to these cities exposed him to some of the most groundbreaking underground sounds heard in the world during the early 90's. He's now been professionally Djing for 14 years, and throughout his career he has played alongside notables such as Richie Hawtin, John Acquaviva, Jeff Milligan (aka Algorithm), Martin Villeneuve (MV), Eli Wilkie, Luke Morrison, Jerome Robins, John Creamer, Brad Copeland, Etienne Ozborne, Jamie Kidd, Toronto's Fukhouse DJs: Ian Guthrie/Lee Osborne/Eric Downer/The Dukes, Kenny Glasgow, Nitin Kalyan, Eddy Jasmin, Capital J, and many, many others.
Rick's preferred club style is anything that can be described as funky and bouncy tech-house, yet he also draws influence from his eclectic music collection - with flashes of myriad genres, ranging from techno to blunted breaks, disco to jazz, and from latin to lounge. He hasn't forgotten his musical roots from running the Detroit Toronto corridor for years... you can always expect the unexpected while Rick blends several different auditory flavours into his Dj sets.
Rick endeavors to provide the dance-floor with a progressive blend of electronica, from funky house beats to tech-house, and everything in between. He tries to bring new sounds to the listening and dancing audience, yet doesn't shy away from the classic underground tracks. Good music is timeless!
Since moving back to Ottawa, Rick has been active in the local scene of our Nation's Capital. He's Dj'd in almost every Ottawa venue such as Heaven, Mavericks, legendary Ottawa clubs such as Atomic, Surface and The Well, Mtl. & Co, Bar 56/Collection, to name just a few. He has helped promote several events and club nights in Ottawa as well, and is currently spending most of his time Djing and promoting Sunrise Afterhours & Day Lounge going on 3 years - an event which parallels the philosophy of Prism Productions: intimate gatherings with good vibes and fresh music!
Sunrise Afterhours & Day Lounge happens every Friday and Saturday after the bars, starting at 3am in Mavericks (221 Rideau Street, Ottawa, Canada)
