Create Your OwnStarting in 2005, BAR][CORE, has been showcasing some of the best underground talent from all over the U.S. and around the world!!! Approaching 3 years running and touching down with events in and around NYC, BAR][CORE never lets down on good beats and even greater times...
Open to a variety of influences, the all encompassing sound that is BAR][CORE is been steadily growing and has been known to include everything from ambient textural non-repetative sounds, to hyper over driven break beat technoid rhythms, to maniacal digital hardcore/breakcore and not to mention anything in between, from dubstep, glitch hop, mutant jungle, chiptune, IDM, hard techno, metal, ragga, mashup, drill n bass, powernoise and just about everything you can think of that would make bodies move! So basically there is no telling what your going to be hearing, but at the same time, if you've been here, you'll [kind of] know what to expect...
With the ever expanding world of music, we believe there are no limits to what can be accomplished by anyone. So we are never too hasty to say our sound is one type of sound, but we do like to keep our general tastes focused on music that has an immediate presence and unique substance, rather than a formula and placated cosmetic looks...
