During the Zombie Uprising of 1997, (oh yeah, it happened...google that shit) Switch was badly injured in an explosion during an attempt to overthrow the Zombie hordes..The resistance eventually prevailed but, Switch remained out of commission. Using left over parts from two broken 808's, one badly damaged turntable, a half charred mixboard, some dental floss, six buttons from a drum machine, duct tape, a toothpick, and 2 bungee cords.. 11 surgeons struggled for 96 grueling hours trying to integrate the new hardware into Switch's body. In the end all we could do..was pray.. After 4 years in a coma, we thought all was lost. When miraculously Switch awoke from his slumber one day with no memory of what had happened. But, a strange new sensation overwhemled him.. The newly integtrated hardware had somehow changed his molecular structure over the last four years... Switch discovered that with just a thought, he could make any type of music he so disired.. With this newly aquired talent, Switch asked a small band of freedom fighters calling themselves...the Eskimo Kitchen..if he may join their ranks. Thier leader, the one who calls himself Mello, saw his talent and knew he would be a valuble asset to the resistance's cause.
