Actor on the Musical stage with Panto and Revues included for many, many years - dancing, chorus, character parts etc., but have chosen not to do a show for the past year or so. Love Blackpool, Paris, London and many other places and now have time to visit these places. I have also produced and choreographed revues and appeared in them as well. Here are just some of the shows I have appeared in over the years. Calamity Jane, Gigi, The Desert Song, Pirates of Penzance, Iolanthe (hated it), Carousel, Oliver(loved it), Me and My Girl, Let's All Go to the Music Hall, The King and I (twice), Hello Dolly, Oklahoma, White Horse Inn, South Pacific, The Musical Revue, The Wizard of Oz, Cinderella, Aladdin, Puss in Boots, Flying High, Songs from the Shows, Musical Spectacular, My Fair Lady, The Boy Friend, A Tribute to the Forces, A tribute to Jessie Matthews, The Army, the Navy and the Air Force, The Christmas Revue, The Minstrals, A Tribute to the Gang Shows, A Musical Carousel, Jack and the Beanstalk, State Fair (only rehearsed as the show was cancelled, etc. But have to admit some of these stage productions I have appeared in seem very dated now, although not all, as there are such fabulous new shows coming out and what wonderful new talent to be seen, and would be talent. Young girls and boys so eager and passionate about stage work. I hope that they follow their dream because it is a rewarding life full of fun and yes heartache at times, let downs and highs when you have auditioned and been offered the part that you have ached to do. As well as acting I have had published 6 books on Local History and am a "Well respected member of the town's local history community" and this came from the Mayor of Scarborough Councillor Derek Bastiman. I have written for The Stage at various times as well and I have been a judge at the Benson Stage and Dance Academy dancing displays and gave out the cups and certificates to the winners...... phew, gosh!!!!
