About Me
THE INDY ARTISTS' PEACE PROJECT MISSION STATEMENT:The Indy Artists' Peace Project is a community of Indiana based creative artists who have dedicated themselves to the work of peace, nonviolence and social justice. We reject all methods of war, violence and torture as a means of social change and call upon our political leaders to work towards sane, practical and peaceful solutions to the ills of the world. We are non partisan, self supporting and not funded by or affiliated with any political party. We are inclusive of people of all religious traditions and believe deeply in the strength of diversity. It is our goal as an organization to entertain the mind with quality performance art while also stirring the soul with a strong message of peace and reconciliation.A CALL FOR ARTISTS:If you are a Hoosier creative artist (musician, songwriter, poet, writer, actor, visual artist, etc.) and you agree with the nonviolent principles expressed in the IAPP mission statement, please feel free to contact us regarding participation in future Indy Artists' Peace Project events.
