Sarah Casselman

There are two ways to live your life - one is as though nothing is a miracle, the other is as though

About Me

I am many things. I am an actor, to act is to become aware of what makes us tick. I am a passionate, intense Scorpio. I am a dancer, to move is to be alive, vibrant. I love to laugh, and have a smile as large as the Cheshire cat. I am vegan and adore being creative in the kitchen. I am compassionate, giving. I am a singer/songwriter, to sing/compose is to breathe life into my lungs. I work to create positive change in the world, via kindness and constructive activism. I am a writer, for stage/radio drama. I am serious yet also playful. I pursue my goals with fervour. I am open-minded, intelligent, self-aware, kind. I am me.

My Interests

Theatre; dance; film; music (goth, industrial, darkwave, rock, EBM, indie, retro, alternative, classical, jazz, world, trance, etc...I'm open-minded); alternative fashion/couture; veganism/rawfoodism,; social activism- disability / queer /environment /animal / human rights; astrology; writing (plays for stage and radio); performance art; art; acting; singing; performing. Lot's more- my interests are vast and varied!

I'd like to meet:

******************** TO ALL OF MY POTENTIAL NEW FRIENDS ********************** I appreciate dearly your interest in connecting with me on MySpace. When doing so, especially if you are a band, I would love for you to write me a brief mail message as to why you wish to connect or what resonated with you about my profile. After all, a friendship requires that we interact, no? :) I love meeting new people and being exposed to new things. Life is so interesting- let's share it together! ************************************************************ ***************** I'M CALLING ALL CREATORS IN THE MOVEMENT/ IT'S TIME TO OFFER A SOLUTION/ TO THE DILUTION OF WHAT WE LOVE. -Esthero, "We R in Need of a Musical Revolution". ************************************************************ ***************** This is a rallying cry to all artists, poets, musicians, actors, directors, dancers, photographers, writers, singers, songwriters, and all who believe we can make the world better with creativity, positivity, and passion - let's get together and use our skills to make people more health/enviro/and socially conscious. I want to meet people who are passionate, kind, open-minded, and love to laugh. People in touch with their mind and body. People who are self-aware, have direction/goals, and work to make them a reality. People who are unselfish. People who are artistic yet grounded. People who work to make change where they see problems in the world, but who are not dogmatic or militant. People who possess a poetic and romantic streak. People who exude happiness, and have a positive attitude about life. In the words of Charles Bukowski, "What matters most is how well you walk through the fire".

My favourite playwrights include (and once again, are not limited to): Shakespeare, George F.
