*********THE INTRODUCTION********I'm the type of person that operates through my life via sound. I've always been more interested in hearing something than seeing something, creating sonic rather than visual interpretations of my world. A lot of people find this surprising, given that I also work as a model, belly dancer, and act in stage, film, and tv- all mediums which are heavily reliant on the visual nature of things. And yes, I find visuals interesting...but at the end of the day, I would much rather listen to a record than watch a movie. ******** THE WOMAN **************I am many things. I am expressive. My feelings are more than an open book- I tear out the pages and read them loudly. I am a singer/songwriter, to sing/compose is to breathe life into my lungs. I have gothic inclinations. I am an actor, to act is to become aware of what makes us tick. I am a passionate, intense Scorpio. Whatever I choose to invest myself in, I do it to the extreme. I am a dancer, to move is to be alive, vibrant. I love to laugh, and have a smile as large as the Cheshire cat. I am vegan and adore being creative in the kitchen. I am compassionate, giving. I work to create positive change in the world, via kindness and constructive activism. The causes closest to my heart include women's rights; rape/incest/sexual assault prevention, recovery and prosecution; environmentalism; disability awareness and support; animal rights; and queer civil rights (ending discrimination based on sexual orientation, and gender identity and expression). I am a writer, for stage/radio drama. I am serious yet also playful. I pursue my goals with fervour. I am open-minded, intelligent, self-aware. I believe in being the change you wish to see in this world. I want to create music that will make a difference. I want to meet people who are passionate, kind, open-minded, and love to laugh. People in touch with their mind and body. People who are self-aware, have direction/goals, and work to make them a reality. People who are unselfish. People who are artistic yet grounded. People who work to make change where they see problems in the world, but who are not dogmatic or militant. People who possess a poetic and romantic streak. People who exude happiness, and have a positive attitude about life.
