Eastern Alliance of Country Music Listeners

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

We started out as a catalyst for uniting 1.5 million country listeners after the demise of our radio station WYNY. For months we pounded the pavement giving speeches and contacting artists for their support and to our surprise we snowballed from there! We grew in numbers, branched out to states and radio stations and enlisted some of the big names in broadcasting! Now we are taking it to MySpace in hopes to grow bigger stronger and prove once and for all Country Music is alive and well and worth listening too, And that ALL Country music artists have a place on the airwaves!!**~~ ATTENTION!!!!!~~** IF YOU ARE AN INDIE ARTIST, KEEP AN EYE ON THIS PAGE, WE WILL FEATURE YOU WEEKLY AS A "SPOT LIGHT" Artist!Layout made by

My Interests

Bridging the gap between artists ,fans and radio and having a great time doing it! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Artist of the week! KENNY WISE!!!Total .. of years in music industry- 22 years ****Who have you played with locally- Bluegrass Bands include bluegrass Diaper Rash, New Breed Bluegrass which went on to become a very heavy working band, Bluegrass Image (professional group), No Leeway (professional group) Casual Bluegrass, and River Hill Bluegrass Band. The Dunn's River Band is the only country group I have ever worked in. ****Who have you played with other than local musicians- I played with a few professional groups that included famous musicians in Bluegrass Music. ****What type of equipment do you use and prefer - I play Ovation Guitar, Hicks Mandolins, Carlson Amps, D'Addario Strings and Labella Strings. ****Who is the biggest influence on your musical career. My Grandmother taught me how to play a guitar and taught me how to play bass. She then taught me to sing and my Godmother taught me harmony singing. I then went on to meet a very good friend Richard Sell and we played together for almost 18 years and we honed our skills and vocals. Dean Crawford and I have been singing for over 13 years and I have learned to blend and come up with a different vocal style other than Bluegrass. I use folks that are near me as an influence. ****Special accomplishments - I have won Maryland State Mandolin Competition 5 times, I have won 2nd in vocal, 3rd on fiddle 3rd on upright bass and have won Maryland State Bluegrass band 6 times. I was a Drum line instructor for 16 years and have gone on to be Tri State Champion. While in my Bluegrass band we have played on many shows with the likes of Allison Krauss, Ricky Scaggs, Del McCoury, Rhonda Vincent, Bill Monroe, Ralph Stanley and many other greats. Along with Dean Crawford I have opened up for Numerous country stars and have recorded in Nashville. I am the General Manager at a major supplier of musical instruments and Luthier supplies. ****Several words to describe yourself - I am a guy that has three life-styles. Husband/Father, Business Man, and Country/Bluegrass Musician. I have worked hard along with My high school sweetheart Beth and have completed a lot of goals but I still have many to reach for.
