Our brightest hopes,our darkest fears
our loudest laughs,our softest tears
our sweetest dreams,our bitterest woes
our highest highs,our lowest lows
a growing love always aware
the more we
share,the more we care.
In the early 80's I
accompanied my husband to Germany where I did volunteer work. He had been a police
officer, and after graduating from college, enlisted in the Army as a 2nd Lt. After
returning to the states, I worked in the financial industry and later in manufacturing.
In 1997, a traumatic brain injury as a result of being thrown from a horse changed my
life drastically. I returned to work, but was unable to fulfill the duties of a
full-time job. The deficits caused from the injury and the medication I must take make
it impossible to hold down a full-time job. So, I am involved in the health and
wellness industry now and work at a slower pace. My husband of 17 years passed away in
March of 2003, and I have had the privilege of raising my now 18 year old daughter
since then. I also have a 27 year old son, and they are my greatest achievement bar
none!I thank my God every day that I am here with them by His grace and for their
success through all the trials of the last ten years.
