Kortney Jean began singing solos at church at the age of 4. By the time she was 6, she was performing at public venues, ranging from sporting events to the areas largest fairs and festivals. Kortney Jean appeals to all ages as she sings songs going back to classics from Patsy Cline and yodeling to today's hottest country hits..She has performed at the world famous "Tootsies" in Nashville and was a featured performer on Nashvilles' Traveling Music Television Show. Kortney Jean's songs have been played on over 1000 independentl radio stations around the world, one reaching top 40 status!. She was also showcased on Froggy radio FM 94.9's "Hometown Country", which has featured great performers such as Brad Paisley.She is backed by her band Stampede which drew a record breaking crowd for opening night at the Bullskin Fair in Pennsylvania and continue to impress listeners everywhere they play.Kortney is currently recording her third CD with David Walker of Walker Musical Enterprises in TN.
