Burnout Fanzine

The REAL independent music press

About Me

Burnout is a music fanzine based in Blackburn, Lancashire covering the music scene in North West England and beyond. It started in August 2004 as a quarterly publication, before going monthly the year after, and has featured interviews with artists as diverse as The Undertones, Fish, The Real McKenzies and Spear Of Destiny.Whilst the focus of Burnout is on Punk and Rock music, we also aim to cover a wider spectrum of music. The aim of this page is not to replace either the the fanzine itself or its web presence at www.burnoutfanzine.co.uk, but to complement them, to make it easier to network with bands and promoters, and hopefully to help promote lesser known bands and the local scene further afield.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Bands, solo musicians, fans, venue owners, record labels and promoters worldwide who are devoted to the independent music scene. Fellow fanzine writers of all kinds. Other creative types also welcome!
