Invey is a hate fuelled, hard rock band based in the Midlands consisting of Andy on Bass, Simon on drums, Ed on guitars and Claire Natalie on Vocals. Having played and toured venues across England and Scotland from local pubs to Newcastle Arena, Festivals include The Demolition Ball, Bulldog Bash, Bloodstock and TMF. Invey Has played with names such as Children of Bodom, Nightwish, American Head Charge and Stuck Mojo and were voted best unsigned band by the rock society at the annual UK metal event Bloodstock Festival and were asked to return the following year. Deemed by the BBC website as "the hardest working band" They have had extremely positive reviews for both the Album and live shows In webzines and national press including Kerrang, Terrorizer, Rock Sound, Powerplay etc. Invey have also had video play on Scuzz and The Musicians Channel.
Invey have released their debut album "Addiction For Comfort" produced by the mighty Pete (Peewee) Coleman responsible for recording such names as ACDC, Napalm Death, The Charlatans....(the list is endless) mid 2007 and have been selling it on iTunes, CD Baby, at gigs and in selected shops. After finishing the recent tour, Invey are looking forward to playing more dates, including the winter tour, and working on plenty of new material. Album track "Release" was picked by Pretorious Productions to be used on the soundtrack of the new Scarlet Fry horror movie "Nightmare Alley" which is to be released in the summer of 2008.
Invey have been writing plenty of new material this year and will be adding new songs to their set in the near future........
