Mick Hutton’s Jazz Club

Mick Hutton's Jazz Club was set up to promote both new and established artists. We promote these artists on a monthly basis and all money raised by ticket sales is returned to the musicians involved. It is NOT a door gig and we do agree a fee before hand. This is a club run by musicians FOR musicians.It is run by Mick Hutton, who is of course the resident bass player, jazz vocalist Debbie Winter and pianist Joanne Lander.When we first started running the club, we were delighted to be able to give priority to Essex -based, professional musicians such as Joanna Eden and Martin Hathaway. In December, we were able to raise enough money to hire a piano and were delighted to have pianist Russ Henderson playing at the club. We are looking forward to future performances by top British jazz musicians such as Sarah Moule, Estelle Kokot and Carl Orr. We are more than happy to consider artists who would like to perform.We operate a policy of friendly support to our fellow musicians. We pay as well as we can and make sure everyone is well fed and watered. We also always return messages. Please feel free to drop us a line and someone will get back to you. Promise!!
