Sounds Like: I like to mix different styles to shape my own one. I adore Jazz but also Funk, Soul and Classical. I trained in England with Andrew Hambly-Smith at the Bristol Academy of Performing Arts ( BAPA) and in Turin, Italy at the Regio Theatre with Anna Siccardi and in Jazz improvisation with Elena Roggero (Voice Craft).
Jazz performances at the Colston Hall, The Tobacco Factory Theatre, Bristol and the Wyvern Theatre,Swindon. Guest on Keith Warmington’s program on BBC Radio Bristol. Ursula March in the musical Sweet Charity at the Tobacco Factory Theatre in Bristol. Paquette in the Leonard Bernstein’s operetta Candide at the St.Georges’s Hall in Bristol. Italy: Release of Cd with Buena Onda and promo tour in France and Spain. Jazz Trio “Les Cadavres Exquis†with Nunzio Barbieri & Rudy Di Monte on guitars;
Recent works include: Promo demo with ENRICO PINNA on guitar;Collaboration with PIERINO ZUZARO rivisitating standard jazz.March 2007:Sylvia has recorded lead and backing vocals for the latest show CIAUBALE DIECI E LODEN at the theatre Cavallerizza Reale, Turin 6/25th March 2007. She is now writing/recording new songs.
