About Me

Born in Stavanger, Norway in 1974, Petter Frost Fadnes is an established saxophone player and composer who performs regularly with the critically acclaimed quartet Metropolis, co-leads the Norwegian-based Kitchen Orchestra, as well as playing in groups like The Geordie Approach, The Thin Red Line, Sharkestra, and The LIMA Orchestra. Petter is a board member and founding member of Leeds Improvised Music Association (LIMA). Petter is also one of very few people in the world with a PhD in performance/improvised music. Dr Fadnes lives in Leeds and gigs regularly in Norway and the UK.
