This is my Sister's flag, the Lakota Oglala flag of the Sioux nation in the U.S. who produced two of the most famous Indians of all times: Chief Red Cloud and Chief Crazy Horse.
This red flag bears a circle of eight teepees representing the eight districts of the reservation.
Today, the flag of red, symbolizes the blood shed by the Sioux in defense of their lands, just as ours does. The flag is a very common sight at all Indian powwows, not just at Sioux gatherings. More than any other flag, the flag of the Oglala Sioux could be considered "THE" flag of the American Indians.
ANYTHING WITH MURRI PEOPLE, THAT IS TELLING THE TRUE STORY OF MY PEOPLE.
"BLOOD ON THE WATTLE" IS THE MAIN ONE, AND ALL 'TRUE' MURRI HISTORY
