Hmmmmmm.... you wana know about me???Hi my Name is Nikita Ridgeway and I was born to Aboriginal parents, my Father is a Biripi Man from Taree and my Mother is a Bundjalung Woman who spent her life moving around NSW before she and dad married each other in Redfern.
My parents were civil rights activists fighting for the Equal Rights of my people and brought me up my entire life teaching me about Aboriginal History, Culture and Politics and it is understandable why my ideologies are the way they are today also having a grandmother being a well known Aboriginal Author and lecturer on Aboriginal Culture, History and Politics, so since the day of my birth I was bred to be a fighter!!!!I grew up my entire life in the Western Suburbs of Sydney.Since I left high school I've been a pretty busy woman. I went into business with my older brother Stephen and now we both own and run:- The National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Basketball Association
- Redfern Records Entertainment along with our Music Store in Redfern
- National Aboriginal Hip Hop & RnB BUMP Music Awards
- Koori Gear Urban Street Wear; and
- Ridgeway Security Services.As a person.. Well I have a very strong thirst for knowledge and I love to learn about new and many different things. I believe very strongly in Family, Friendship, Trust, Loyalty, Honour, Love, Honesty and doing what is morally right! I'm a very hard working person and I am very passionate in all that I do as well as at times I am bit of a perfectionist! 70% of the time its a positive thing that I’m like that, but 30% of the time it can be a real bitch cause' I work so much and I don’t allow time for myself and those around me!!!!
