He has been in two official bands: Cockpit and BigG.The first one, at he age of seventeen, was a mix of Reggae, Ska and Rock. The presentations were not only a Band Show, but an entertainament and happy party that played around with the audience. Eleven musicians formed the band, Pizarro was the solo guitarist and made arrangements and also the production and recordings. Cockpit has 1 album and one video-clip that appeared on MTV Demo Brasil.
In the second band BigG, now at the age of 21, he played Alternative and Progressive Rock. With only four musicians the aggressive way to play that Rock, brought to this band relative success. BigG played in music festivals in Brasilia and Salvador-Bahia where Man-O’s distortion was louder and got the message across.
Manoel Pizarro Collares(Man-O) has produced a few artists in Brazil, as Italo Coutinho from the extinct Grupo Domino. Soon the track was recorded, he also helped the video director Valerio Azevedo, who was the first Brazilian to win the MTV Awards in the USA, to shoot its video-clip. With that, Pizarro learned a lot about video-recording and got himself enough experience.
In the year of 2005 he played with Thiago Fernandes an acoustic project called Swing On This. Brazilian and international tunes were part of their set. They shared the stage with Capitao do Cerrado and Digao from Raimundos among others.
Still in Brazil, he developed a new work blending the guitar sound with a wide range of electronic musical styles such as: House, Progressive, Electro, Trance and Lounge. With this innovation he has already impressed the audience of Eletronic Music.
Pizarro has just started to gig around the world. He has traveled to Italy, Spain and United Kingdom. Now, based in London, he has played with incredible musicians from all around the globe.
