Living in the Past Paralyzes The Present!!!!

About Me

Abe Hampton is the most versatile, inspiring, and underrated musician in the NY music circle. His style is slick, his sound is smart, and he's also related to the late great Lionel Hampton, so obviously talent is an understatement for him. This NY born and bred musician made his debut in Catholic churches in the Harlem area being organist/choral conductor for many choirs. He then moved on from church to secular which is where he then found his true voice as a musician. He has performed and toured in many different countries with several well known artists such as Melba Moore, Kirk Whalum, Tramaine Hawkins, Stephanie Mills, Bilal, The Commitments (performed with the Commitments for George W. Bush on St. Patrick's Day 2005) and Taylor Dayne. In between that time he also achieved a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano from William Paterson University.Currently, he resides in London on tour with The Drifters and establishing himself internationally as an artist and putting together the long awaited debut album Sensual Feast.
